 Mufti Rushan Abbyasov took part in a working meeting of the Hajj Council Mufti Rushan Abbyasov, Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation for International Affairs and Hajj, took part in a working meeting of the Hajj Council on the organisation of the pilgrimage in 2025. He was accompanied by Ali Gurdin, Head of the Hajj Department of the RBM of the Russian Federation, General Director of the official Hajj operator of the RBM of the Russian Federation ‘Muslim Tour’.

The meeting was chaired by Ilyas Umakhanov, a member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Commissioner for Hajj Affairs of the Commission on Religious Associations of the Russian Government. The Council was attended by: Head of the Hajj Commission of Russia Hizbula Asuev, representatives of Centralised Religious Organisations and Hajj operators of Russia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, executive authorities.

The participants of the meeting summarised the results of last year's season, discussed important directions and details of this year's pilgrimage, distribution of the all-Russian quota, and approved Hajj operators for this year's Hajj season.

The quota, as before, will be 25 thousand people, and it is important to note that pilgrims must submit documents by 30 March.

Addressing the audience, Rushan Abbyasov on behalf of the Chairman of the RBM of the Russian Federation Chief Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin thanked Ilyas Umakhanov for his many years of good work on the way of organising a great pilgrimage for compatriots, as well as for the development of fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The deputy chairman of the RBM of the Russian Federation emphasised that this year 5 thousand people will receive charitable vouchers to Hajj from philanthropist Suleiman Kerimov - first of all, veterans of the Russian Military Forces and their family members, doctors, public figures and volunteers who provide comprehensive support to the participants of the special operation.

Rushan khazrat noted that ‘Muslim Tour’ will fulfil all obligations to pilgrims at its high level and provide them with a comfortable level of fulfilment of the main spiritual journey in life.
