During the Ramadan Tent traditionally organized by Russia Muftis Council near Moscow Memorial Mosque, an elimination round of XV Moscow International Qur'an reciting competition among Russian huffaz and qari'as will take place on July 6, 2014.

The all-Russian elimination round of the competition will be attended by huffaz and qari'as of Qur'an from Russia's regions, namely Moscow, Chechen Republic, Republic of Tatarstan, Republic of Dagestan and others.

The finals of the competition will take place on September 20, 2014 in the concert hall of Crocus City Hall under the patronage of the Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin with the support of Moscow City Government, Foreign Affairs Ministry of Russian Federation and the ministry of culture.

The event will be attended by well-known Qur'an reciters from more than 30 countries. The competition will be divided into two nominations: Hifz (recitation of Qur'an by heart) and Tilawa (artistic recitation of Qur'an).
