An event devoted to the 56th anniversary of Malaysian independence took place in Moscow city.

The celebration was attended by RMC deputy chairman Rushan hazrat Abbyasov and the head of International Department Ildar hazrat Galeev at the invitation of extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Malaysia.

During the event, Rushan hazrat Abbyasov extended the greetings of the Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin to Malaysian ambassador.

Rushan hazrat especially noted the positive vector of Russian-Malaysian relations and the role of Russia Muftis Council in development of mutual ties in the spheres of culture, education, science and economics, and expressed his hope for continued fruitful cooperation and further development of relations.
