RMC delegation took part in the opening of the International Conference of the Islamic World A delegation of Russia Muftis Council headed by mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin took part in one of the greatest conferences of the Islamic World—13th annual conference "Development of the Islamic Jurisprudence" which has opened in Muscat, capital of Oman.

The conference opened with the blessing of Sultan Qaboos and under the patronage of Yahya bin Mahfouz al-Manzari, President of the State Council of the Sultanate of Oman. The conference is attended by the Ministry of Wakuf and Religious Affairs of Oman Abdullah bin Mohammed al Salimi, foreign minister Yousef bin Awlai bin Abdalla, ministers of wakuf and Islamic affairs of Sudan, Tunis and Pakistan, muftis of Egypt, Croatia, Slovenia, Australia, Nigeria and others. The conference is also traditionally attended by famous Islamic scholars, including Wahba az-Zuhayli, Ali Gomaa, Kahlan al-Harousi and others.

During the conference, which was attended by more than 60 delegates from 40 countries, participants will discuss the concept of 'adl (justice) in Shari'a law, rights and obligations of man in Qur'an, issues pertaining to international treaties and agreements, humanism of Shari'a law in different schools of Islamic law (madhabs). The conference will last for four days.

As it was previously stated, during the official visit to the Sultanate, RMC delegation will also meet with Omani officials and state representatives.
