The 2nd International BRICS Quran Recitation Award.
Mufti Abbyasov emphasized that Russian Muslims, following the call of President Vladimir Putin, actively contribute to strengthening moral values, supporting the institution of the traditional family, and developing intercivilizational dialogue. These efforts receive broad support from foreign partners, including BRICS representatives.
In turn, Mr. Ryabkov noted that the Russian Foreign Ministry highly appreciates RBM’s commitment to fostering interethnic and interfaith dialogue within BRICS. He highlighted that cultural and humanitarian interaction is a traditional area of cooperation within the association, contributing to the strengthening of friendship, trust, and mutual understanding among member states and their peoples.
The Deputy Minister also assured continued constructive engagement with RBM and further development of collaboration within the competence of the Russian Foreign Ministry. He emphasized that the experience of organizing such forums, starting with Kazan where the first large-scale events were held a year ago, has now evolved into a valued tradition set to continue on the international stage in Brazil.
