Dear Compatriots!



On behalf of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, all our clergy and on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate all Russians on Defender of the Fatherland Day!

Today's holiday is a special date in our calendar, which has become an integral part of the cultural code of the Russian people. Admiring the feats of our ancestors and paying tribute to the courage and heroism of our contemporaries, we preserve and pass on to our children and grandchildren the timeless values of friendship, mutual support, love for our neighbour and for our Motherland. It is these values that help us to withstand all adversities, uniting our people in a common endeavour to preserve a peaceful sky over Russia, to achieve the victory of truth over lies and good over evil.

We all deeply respect, honour and admire those who have devoted their lives and service to the defence of the Fatherland. The main recipients of today's congratulations are the participants in the Special Military Operation, military personnel, law enforcement officers and all those who, as volunteers at the front and in the rear, provide humanitarian support to our fighters and bring victory closer in every possible way. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, whom we honour as living heroes who won the freedom of our Motherland from fascism, occupy a special place in this row.

A sense of civic duty, concern for the fate of the Fatherland and for future generations oblige us to treat with all responsibility those difficult processes that are taking place today in the world in general and around Russia in particular. I call on all my fellow citizens to put aside internal differences, consciously and purposefully make efforts to strengthen the unity of society, rally around our national leader and help him in every possible way to defend Russia's interests on the world stage.

On this festive Defender of the Fatherland Day, I cordially wish all my compatriots health and fortitude. I offer my prayers to the Almighty Creator with a request to bless our nation and our defenders, to send us all unity, peace and prosperity!
