At the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Russian Federation, Mr Rashid Al-Adwani, the Deputy Chairman of the DUM of the Russian Federation, Mufti Rushan Abbyasov, took part in a reception on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Kuwait Liberation Day and National Day.

Rushan Hazrat conveyed to Mr Ahmad Albuaijan, Counsellor of the Embassy, and in his person Mr Ambassador, the leadership and the brotherly people of Kuwait the words of greetings and congratulations on behalf of the Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Chief Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin.

He also expressed gratitude to Mr Rashid Al-Adwani and the Embassy staff for their contribution to the development of Russian-Kuwaiti relations and expressed hope for further expansion of cooperation in spiritual, cultural, scientific, educational and humanitarian spheres.

In conclusion, Mufti Rushan Abbyasov conveyed to Mr Counsellor his congratulations on the approaching holy month of Ramadan and prayerfully wished all the people of Kuwait peace, prosperity, well-being and support of the Almighty in all good endeavours.
