Mufti Rushan Abbyasov, Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and member of the Supervisory Board of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, met with Anna Tsivileva, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Defence of Russia and Chairman of the Defenders of the Fatherland State Foundation.

During the meeting the parties discussed further joint work within the framework of the existing Cooperation Agreement.

Rushan Hazrat conveyed to Anna Tsivileva and all participants of the meeting the words of greetings on behalf of the Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Chief Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin and emphasised the exceptional importance of the Foundation's activities.

For her part, Anna Tsivileva noted that today our guys, regardless of religion, defend the interests of the Motherland. That is why it is so important to treat any religion very carefully, with care and respect, to join forces to solve various issues of heroes and members of their families. In her opinion, it is especially necessary to show that with all the diversity of nationalities Russia was and remains united and independent, preserving cultural, historical and spiritual and moral values.
