Mufti Rushan Abbyasov, Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, member of the Supervisory Board of the State Fund for Support of Participants of the Special Military Operation ‘Defenders of the Fatherland’, received from the hands of Anna Tsivileva, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Defence of Russia, Chairman of the State Fund ‘Defenders of the Fatherland’, a badge of the Fund ‘For Mobilisation’ and a letter of thanks ‘for high professionalism and active participation in the activities of the State Fund for Support of Participants of the Special Military Operation “Defenders of the Fatherland”.

‘I cordially thank Anna Evgenievna and want to emphasise that these awards reflect the merits of the entire team of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the regional Religious Boards that are part of it. In October 2023, the Chairman of the RBM of the Russian Federation Chief Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin and the Chairman of the Foundation ‘Defenders of the Fatherland’ Anna Tsivileva signed a Cooperation Agreement, which became the starting point of close cooperation between the two organisations in a common cause - to support the participants and veterans of the SMO, as well as members of their families’ - said Rushan Hazrat.

In his commentary he also noted that representatives of the RBM regularly make humanitarian missions to the front line, materially and spiritually supporting our brave soldiers, visit wounded soldiers in military hospitals: they hand over food packages, religious literature and pray for their speedy recovery, maintain constant contact with the families of veterans and participants of the SMO and provide comprehensive assistance.

‘I can say with full confidence that this year, announced by the President of Russia as the Year of Defender of the Fatherland, we will continue to develop cooperation with the Foundation and put even more diligence in helping our valiant soldiers’ - emphasised Mufti Rushan Abbyasov.
