A working session of Russian Muslimas Union will be held in the course of II All-Russia Muslim Conference, titled “Muslims of Russia and Civil Society”, which will take place on May 28 in Moscow.

During the event the participants are going to discuss pressing questions like the recent hijab affair, the institute of matchmaking, organization of family and crisis centers and women shelters and building of positive image of Muslim women in Russia. In the end of the session organizers are going to adopt an action plan for 2013 and define the main tasks that demand combined effort.

Russian Muslimas Union is a unique non-governmental organization with more than 50 regional offices that was created in April 2012 with the assistance of Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin. The Union is headed by Nailya hanum Ziganshina.
