Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutin took part in Victory Day celebrations at the invitation of President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

On May 9, when Russians celebrate their most important and solemn occasion, he stood at the guest stand together with war veterans and heroes, watching military parade. Victory Day is the day of victory of Soviet Union over Nazi Germany in the course of Great Patriotic War of 1941—1945.

After the end of military display, a reception on behalf of President of Russia took place in Kremlin.
