By order of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, his First Deputy Chairman of the RBMRF Damir Mukhetdinov takes part in a solemn event at the Zaryadye Concert Hall on the occasion of the 877th anniversary of the foundation of Moscow.

The event is being held with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As the President noted, Muscovites have always, especially at the most difficult stages of history, keenly felt their responsibility for the Motherland, performed labor and military feats, preserved unique cultural values, showed examples of courage, steadfastness and love for the Motherland.

“The golden-headed and majestic Moscow has been and remains the heart of Russia. It is the city-hero and the city-worker, the concentration of the value code of our multinational people, the symbol and reliable stronghold of our statehood,” the head of state emphasized.

In 2024 Moscow celebrates its 877th birthday on September 7 and 8. Moscow City Day is traditionally celebrated on the first or second Saturday of September.
