Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin expressed condolences in connection with the deaths of adults and children as a result of attacks by the AFU:

On behalf of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and all our clergy, I express my deepest condolences to the families and friends of the children and adults who died as a result of the AFU rocket attack. The shelling of peaceful people by the Ukrainian army is a cynical and cruel crime even by the standards of military operations. The violation of internationally recognized norms and customs of war, the killing and mutilation of children on the day after the Day of Remembrance and Mourning is a sign of the ideology of Nazism, which has taken root in the heads of the Ukrainian political leadership under the patronage of the authorities of the so-called "collective West". There is no explanation for their actions other than their commitment to misanthropy, Satanism, and fascism.

Our thoughts and prayers today are for those who have lost peaceful loved ones or suffered from the two terrible tragedies in Sevastopol and Dagestan. We pray to Allah Almighty to grant healing to all those who are now in hospitals, and ask Allah to grant fortitude and patience to those who have lost their loved ones.
