The Mufti of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Republic of Mordovia, Rail Asainov and his deputy Rashit Abdrashitov visited the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia.

During their meeting with Dr Salih Al-Fuleih, Advisor to the Minister, they discussed the possible areas of commercial and economic cooperation. Rail Asainov briefed the Minister's Advisor on the Republic of Mordovia, its enterprises and manufactured products, as well as on the measures taken by the authorities aimed at supporting the local industry and export initiatived. The Advisor offered a list products that are particularly in demand in Saudi Arabia and expressed interest in establishing business relations.

It should be noted that the 39th International Agricultural Exhibition "Saudi Agriculture 2022" was held in Riyadh in October 2022 and included the largest exposition "Made in Russia". During the opening ceremony of the Russian exposition Dmitry Patrushev, Minister of Agriculture, said that "Saudi Arabia is one of Russia's strategic partners and our country is interested in strengthening its presence both on the Saudi and Middle Eastern markets.
