Imam-hatib of the Historical Moscow Mosque Ramil Sadekov and deputy head of the International Department of the RMC Islam Kozhevnikov participated in the International conference "Islamic conduct: awareness, daily practice, tolerance and good neighbourliness". The conference was held in Oran, Algeria.

The conference took place under the patronage of the President of Algeria, Abdelmajid Tebboun, and was organised by the Supreme Islamic Council of Algeria.

The event attracted over 200 participants from 40 countries, including the head of the Supreme Islamic Council Gulamullah Bou Abdullah, Mufti of Egypt Shawki Allam, heads of Indonesian, Arab and European Muslim organizations.

The Russian delegation also held a meeting with the chairman of the Supreme Islamic Council of Algeria Sheikh Gulamulla Bou Abdullah, where Ramil Sadekov invited the Algerian representatived to visit the Russian Federation and presented the book "The Mosques of Russia", published by the "Chitai" publishing house last year in connection with the 1100th anniversary of the official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgarians.
