In the Council Chamber of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation a joint meeting of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Public Council under the Federal Service of the Russian Federation for Narcotics Traffic Control was held.

The agenda of the Council meeting included consideration of the draft of the Federal Law "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation” in terms of securing a legal mechanism to encourage drug treatment and the passage of medical and social rehabilitation of drug addicts, and discussion of the draft work plan for Council for 2012 year.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Council of State Anti-Drug Committee, Director of FDCS of Russia V. P. Ivanov, deputies of the State Duma, members of the Public Chamber Commission on public control over the activities and reforming the police and the judicial system, the Deputy Director of Federal Drug Control Service of Russia, members of the Public Council under the Russian Federal Drug Control Service, experts and specialists.

The joint meeting of the Public Chamber of Russian Federation and the Public Council under the Federal Service of the Russian Federation for Narcotics Traffic Control was attended a member of the Public Council under the Federal Service of the Russian Federation for Narcotics Traffic Control, Deputy Chairman of the RMC and DUMER Harith Hazrat Saubyanov.
