A meeting of representatives of the Department of Economics of the Russian Muftis Council M. Kalimulina and  T. Vagizova with the head of Malaysia's Trade Mission in Moscow, the head of the Moscow office of the Malaysian Development Corporation for Foreign Trade (MATREYD), Mr. Hayrul Nizam took place.

The parties discussed areas of cooperation for 2012 and prospects for participation of Malaysian companies in the exhibition Moscow Halal Expo 2012. Mr. Nizam said that several Malaysian companies have expressed interest in participating in the forthcoming exhibition. It should be noted that last year three Malaysian companies participated in the exhibition Moscow Halal Expo 2011. For its part, the head of Malaysia's Trade Mission in Moscow has also invited the Russian buyers, importers and distributors to participate in the 9th International Halal Exhibition (Mijas-2012) to be held in Kuala Lumpur, 4-7 April 2012.

In Mijas 2012 MATREYD invites Russian companies to conduct negotiations with Malaysian manufacturers and exporters in the format of B2B business meetings in the office MATREYD in Kuala Lumpur, April 3, 2012. In addition a special session of meetings with exhibitors of Mijas will be organized for Russian and foreign companies April 4, 2012.

Foreign buyers who intend to attend business meetings, are entitled to free accommodation (up to 5 days and 4 nights in the period from 2nd to 6th April 2012) and airport-hotel reshipment.
