The delegation of Iraqi religious and political "Movement-Sadr II" visited Moscow Cathedral mosque. At the residence of the Head of RMC Deputy Mufti Hazrat Damir Gizatullin and vice-chairman of SMR Rushan hazrat Abbyasov hosted the delegation. A delegation from the city of Najaf visits Russia for the first time. Among the guests were the deputy leader of the Movement Mustafa al-Yacoubi, head of the Political Bureau of the Movement Al Khafaji Karara, general secretary of the parliamentary bloc of Sadrists “Al Ahrar" Dyya al-Asadi, the staff responsible for international and public relations.

The guests expressed their keen interest to the story about the story of employees of the Muftiyat of Islam in Russia and changes in the revival of spirituality over the years of democratic reforms.

In turn, the representatives of the "Movement-Sadr II" spoke about the years of formation of the Movement in the last third of the last century, the struggle for religious freedom, the loss of people during the U.S. invasion of Iraq.

Hopes and prayers to the Almighty Allah were expressed to bestow the grace of peace and prosperity of the peoples of Islam in Russia and Iraq.

The guests handed over the invitation to participate in an international conference under the slogan of unity of Islam and Muslims in peace to the Chairman of RMC Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, who will lead a delegation of Russian Muslims in the coming spring of this year in Iraq. Also Russian delegation received an invitation to visit the city of Najaf. The invitation was accepted with gratitude and best wishes of fruitful current visit to Moscow of Muslims of Iraq.
