Completing his working visit to the State of Kuwait, the delegation of the Russian Muftis Council had the honor to be one of the first  of those who could congratulate on behalf of the Chairman of the RMC Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of Kuwait Mr. Jamal Shihab on assuming this post.

Mr. Minister listened very carefully to the story of Russian Muslims and about the activities being undertaken by the Russian Muftis Council.

The Vice-Chairman RMC Rushan hazrat Abbyasov informed on current and future projects of RMC, noting that over the years the RMC had developed productive and partner relationships with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Awqaf, in particular, with the Deputy Minister Dr. Adel Falyakh, who took an active participation in programs and projects of Russian Muslims. In Kuwait people appreciate that the Adel Falyakh was awarded the highest award of the Russian Muftis Council - the Order Al-Fakhr and the Order of Friendship that he had received from the President of the Russian Federation.

In turn, the Director of the International Department of RMC Renat hazrat Abyanov answered questions from Mr Minister about the history and culture of Russia.

At the end of the meeting Rushan hazrat wished him success in his new position and conveyed the invitation of the RMC Chairman to visit Russia.

Mr. Jamal Shihab thanked for the warm greetings and reconfirmed his intention to continue the fruitful cooperation for the benefit of the spread of Islamic values.
