At the residence of the Russian Muftis Council the Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council, the Religious Board of Muslims of European part of Russia, Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin met with the President of the Kyrghyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev, who is in Moscow with his first official visit after his inauguration in December 2011.

The Chairman RMC, Ravil Gaynutdin, who took part in the celebrations of Atambayev entry of the President of Kyrgyzstan, and blessed him for this position and service to the people of Kyrgyzstan, personally met with the delegation at his residence, which included: vice-premier Karashev Alla Azimovich, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Kazakbayev Ruslan Aytbaevich, Director of the State Commission for Religious Affairs under the President Abdilatif Zhumabayev, head of foreign policy in the rank of Deputy Chief of Staff of President Isakov Sapar Dzhumakadyrovich, and other distinguished guests.

The meeting was attended by First Deputy Chairman of DUMER Damir Mukhetdinov and Vice Chairman of the RMC Rushan Abbyasov.

 All participants welcomed the spiritual leader of the prayer-address of Russian Muslims leader, whose prayer to the Almighty Allah included a request to establish stability and peace in the land of brotherly Kyrgyzstan, survived from shocks for many months. "I pray to Almighty Allah for the success of your visit and your activities. We are united, never divide the congregation according to nationality," – Ravil hazrat said.

 

Participants of the today's meeting discussed the strengthening of good neighborly relations between the peoples of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

The Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council confirmed confidence in the continuation of the course of cooperation, spiritual and moral rebirth of our people.

Mufti said about the recent events of the month of Rabbi-ul Awwal, the celebration of Mawlid an-Naby in the Russian Federation, which took place with the active participation of the Kyrgyz diaspora.

During these holidays, February 17, a treaty was signed on mutual understanding and cooperation between the Russian Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of Kyrgyz Republic, on whose behalf the document was signed by Mufti Chubak Jalilov aji.

Mufti presented to President Atambayev books, which according to the Treaty, the Russian Muftis Council (Publisher "Islamic Book") published in conjunction with the representative office (led by Maksat Kanykbaev) of DUM of Kyrgyzstan in Moscow. Among these books: "Life of the Prophet Muhammad" in two parts, "Principles of Islamic law," Alifba, prayer lessons, and other publications on the basics of Islam in the Kirghiz language.

Ravil hazrat spoke about the joint activities that we conduct with parishioners from the diaspora of Kyrgyzstan.

Atambaev stressed that the peoples of the CIS had a common history, common roots, community of people, which must be preserved.

President Atambayev, who proudly positions itself as a Muslim who observes the requirements of our blessed religion, addressing Ravil Gaynutdin expressed his firm conviction: "It is you, dear mufti, who should assume the mission of the consolidation of Muslims of the CIS", promising his support for the revival of spirituality and stability in Eurasia.

"Without  Asians Russia will not be" - President Atambayev said, adding that he welcomes the idea of ??Eurasianism and the common economic space for our people.

The President Atambayev again, as at a meeting last December in Bishkek, confirmed its acceptance and recognition of the need for the creation of the  Council of Muftis of the CIS and the CIS Council of Ulema, which, in fact, was the main provision of the Treaty signed on February 17 on cooperation, and these projects found wide understanding and support.

During this meeting a number of provisions of the Treaty has evolved. In particular, the parties agreed to continue cooperation in the field of spiritual enlightenment and education.

The President recalled that the first imams in his country were the Tatars and asked to continue this educational tradition. At the request of senior leadership of Kyrgyzstan, Russian Islamic schools will be to enroll students from Kyrgyzstan. In turn, the Government of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan supports printing and distribution of publications in Kyrgyzstan of "Medina al-Islam" - Muslim newspaper of Eurasia.

In conversation Mufti expressed his concern and that some forces are using migrants to unscrupulous political games involving their participation in meetings aimed at undermining stability.

The President thanked Mr Mufti Ravil Gaynutdin for such support, and spiritual and educational work of the Russian Muftis Council among the migrant workers. "We are very grateful for the support and attention," – the President Atambayev said.

The sides expressed confidence that further cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, the peoples of our countries will be fruitful and will last for centuries.
