Kuwait, from 11 to 18 April will host the International competition of reciters of the Quran.

Russia in this competition will be represented by Bilal Abdulkhalikov and Magomed Magomedov, who will take part in the nominations of Hifz (knowledge of the Quran by heart) and Tilyava (recitation).For many years, this competition attracts the best scholars of the Quran from around the world who give the listeners a great gift: achievement on the way to masterful reading of the Holy Quran.

This competition is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of the State of Kuwait, with which the Russian Muftis Council have developed a constructive and fruitful relationships, aimed at the development of Islamic values. Tonight, the Russian participants will travel to Kuwait, to worthy represent our country at such a meaningful contest.
