The International Department Director of the Russian Muftis Council Renat hazrat Abyanov and a specialist of education abroad office Dinara Hasyanova met with the First and Second Secretary of the Embassy of Indonesia Lailal Khairiyaah  Yuniarti and Endzhay Diana. During the meeting a number of issues concerning further cooperation in the field of education were discussed. 

This meeting was a continuation of the dialogue, which was launched in February this year during a visit of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia Jauhar Oratmangun to the Russian Muftis Council for a meeting with the Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin.

The First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia Lailal Khairiyaah Yuniarti in the beginning of the meeting emphasized that Russia and Indonesia were very similar, particularly in multiethnic and multireligious society. Mrs. Lailal noticed that in addition to this, Russian and Indonesian Muslim tied by religious identity that was different from a number of countries that would certainly contribute to a more easy adaptation of the Russian students. According to the First Secretary the allocated grants, show not only a high assessment to the activities of the Russian Muftis Council, but also a desire to strengthen the future of Russian-Indonesian relations, cultivating highly qualified professionals capable of developing cooperation between the two countries. We should recall that in the current year, Russian Muslims have received 14 grants for education in the state Islamic universities in Indonesia. Start date: August 2012.
