Tasting Competition "Best Halal Product" will be held in Moscow for the second time in the Moscow International Exhibition Moscow Halal Expo 2012.

The contest will be held this year in four categories: poultry (chicken), sausages, canned food, vegetable oil. The composition of the Contest Committee will include qualified experts, technologists, evaluation and tasting of the products will pass through the impersonal standardsand samples. Applications for participation in the contest were filed by companies from Moscow, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Chelyabinsk region, regions of Central Russia, companies from the CIS countries.

The contest is aimed primarily at improving the quality of meat products in the healthy competition between producers. Among the objectives of the Contest - encouragement of organizations to improve the quality and competitiveness of products "Halal", a broad and reliable information to consumers about the high quality products "Halal" and their manufacturers; promotion of halal products for domestic and international markets. The winner will have the right to use the sign of the competition for the product packaging. Halal meat products in Russia is not something available in limited quantities. Today in Russia, many large enterprises produce halal slaughter on an industrial scale, and in many retail chains halal presented in individual sectors.
