The Chairman of RMC Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin met with the Head of the Agency for Religious Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Lama Sharif during the Forum held in Astana and among different topics voiced was the full support of the Kazakh government, including President Nursultan Nazarbayev's idea to create the CIS Muftis Council as well as need to hold the founding meeting of the new organization in Kazakhstan.

Ravil Gaynutdin stressed the need to pay close attention to the education of Muslim youth. "We must teach our young people to avoid being taken to the various sects. The most important thing - education, upbringing, instruction,"- the mufti said during the meeting.

Earlier, a project of the CIS Muftis Council creation was supported by the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambaev. The initiative for the creation of the the CIS Muftis Council in November 2011 during Muslim forum was voiced be the religoius leader Russian Muslims, Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin.

The founding congress of the CIS Muftis Council, presumably, will be held in September 2012 at a meeting of Muslim religious leaders. This was announced after the meeting of the RMC Chairman Mufti Ravil Gaynutdin with the Chairman of Republic of Kazakhstan Agency on Religious Affairs Kairat Lama Sharif in the IV Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held 30-31 May 2012 in Astana.

"We fully support your idea of creation of ??the CIS Muftis Council and Ulema Council of the CIS. We have recently observed many organizations that were created, but do not function. We in Kazakhstan are not accustomed to work that way. When we started the implementation of such project, we will work until the end, "- Kairat Lama Sharif said.

During the meeting the parties also agreed that to the date of the founding meeting the presentation of the new book Mufti Ravil Gaynutdin "Hanafi Akida" as well as the international conference "The Role of Islam in the CIS" will be timed.
