June 10 the solemn closing ceremony of the Moscow International Halal Exhibition - Moscow Halal Expo 2012 took place.

Rushan hazrat-Abbyasov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council of Muftis of Russia, Head of Staff of the RMC, thanked all exhibitors and organizators for the contribution in the aranging the event. He noted that the number of exhibitors this year exceeded one hundred, more than 25% increase  compared to last year and almost double increase compared to the first exhibition in 2010, and the number of visitors exceeded 7000.

The Moscow International Halal Exhibition for the third year has become an important and significant event not only for Russian citizens, but also for those near and far abroad. Delegations from 30 countries worldwide came to visit the event. Representatives from 10 states directly participated in the event. Among the guests of honor were a member of the Royal family of Saudi Arabia, the head of the Oversight Body for the Importation of Goods into the country Dr. Muhammad Al-Kanhal, Deputy Director of the Institute of Standardization and Metrology of Islamic countries Chagry Dzhankurtaran, the President of European Muslim Union, a member of the executive committee of Salamworld Abu Bakr Rieger, the Chairman of the Technical Committee of the number 57 on the Standardization of products "Halal" of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Sarsenbayev, the leadership of the World Islamic Economic Forum and other sign faces.

Moscow International Halal for the third year has become an important and significant event not only for Russian citizens, but also for those near and far abroad. For the first time delegations from the Philippines, Afghanistan, Bosnia and Sudan have particpated in the Exhibition. Among the Russian regions the companies from Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Mordovia, Dagestan and the Chechen Republic took more active part in the Exhibition.

At the closing ceremony the exhibitors were awarded certificates of participation and winners of tasting competition were awarded "Best Halal Product", which was held during the Moscow Halal Expo 2012 and received the gifts. The contest took place in several categories, such as poultry (chicken), sausages, canned food, vegetable oil. The contest jury included highly qualified experts of technologies, who assessed and tasted the impersonal standards of products. The company IP Madaliev (Kazakhstan), JSC "Kazan meat", "Broiler Chelny" were recognized as winners in the category of «Meat»; LLC "Vesco", «Kazan meat» - in the category of "Canned Meat"; LLC "Prioskolie», LLC "Chelny Broiler", "Russian field"- in the category of "Poultry"; Pestrechinka, IP Karsakbaeva and LLC "Safa" - in the category of "Meat dumplings». All of these companies now have the right to use the label "Best Halal Product" on the packaging of their products .

In the contest of "Best exhibitor" according to visitors' voting the winners of the Exhibition were:

1st place - "Safa" (Moscow)

2nd place - The Fashion House, "Firdaus" (Grozny)

3rd place - ACT International - products and sweets of Mediterranean from Tunisia

Given the scope of the Third Moscow International Halal, as well as the number of participants and visitors, we can say about the success of the event as well as halal industry as a whole. "This exhibition was a holiday for all of us" - Rushan hazrat Abbyasov said. "I think everyone here has found for himself what he wanted." He thanked all the guests, exhibitors, as well as all those who were somehow involved in organizing the event and asked for forgiveness for any errors or omissions. "We hope with all your suggestions and comments we can improve and make our fourth exhibition even better and more beautiful!" -Rushan hazrat finished.
