During a Friday sermon in the Moscow Cathedral Mosque parishioners expressed their full solidarity and support of the Muslim majority protest in Russia against the practice of making unfair judgments against the Muslim religious literature.

The Russian Muftis Council has expressed its position on this issue in its official statement, whichin particular, states:

"... The facts of inclusion to the list of extremist materials Muslim religious literature continue; quite often the the reason for this is not always objective, reasonable, comprehensive and complete in terms of expert advice.

A new cause for concern was the fact that March 26, 2012 the judge of the Leninsky District Court of Orenburg A. Nuzhdin satisfies the request of the Prosecutor on 65 (!) names of theological literature and books of historical content of almost all Islamic publishing houses of Russia. The copy of the judgment, that has already entered into force in April 2012, was presented to the merchants of books in the recently passing in Kazan fairs of Muslim publishers.

We are not fully satisfied with the work of the Expert Council under the Russian Ministry of Justice, but such judgments had not been given on such books yet.

The prosecutor and the judge of Leninsky district of Orenburg, without inviting to the hearings any person as a defendant or any author, translator, or publisher, behind the scenes gave the judgment, which threatens the loyalty of Muslims to our country..."
