Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin expresses condolences to the Prime Minister of Pakistan A bomb explosion at a Shia mosque in Peshawar in northwestern Pakistan killed at least 45 and injured 65 people. Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, chairman of the Russia Muftis Council, sent his condolences to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan:

On behalf of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, 25-million Russian Ummah and myself, I express my sincere and deepest condolences to the people of Pakistan.
The Russian Muslims share the pain and grief of those who lost their relatives and loved ones in the terrorist attack and pray to Almighty Allah to grant recovery and relief to those suffering.
Innocent people have died. The Holy Qur'an says that whoever kills a soul it is "as if he had slain mankind entirely".
We pray to the Almighty Creator to accept the souls of the deceased and bestow His mercy upon them.

انا لله وانا اليه راجعون

Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin
