Bahrain businesswomen's society visits the Moscow cathedral mosque Rushan Hazrat Abbyasov, deputy chairman of the Russia Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, met the delegation of the Bahrain businesswomen's society headed by Ahlam Janahi. The delegation arrived in Russia with an official visit and included ten businesswomen. Naila Ziganshina accompanied the guests from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Rushan Abbyasov delivered a welcome speech on behalf of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, religious leader of Russian Muslims, chairman of the RMC abd the RBMRF.

He informed the guests about the history of Islam in Russia and the life of Russian Muslims, noting that in 2022 the 1100th anniversary of the official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgarians would be celebrated. Rushan Abbyasov placed a special emphasis on the contribution of Muslims of both clountries to the Russian-Bahrain relationship. In particular, he spoke about the exhibition "Made in Russia. Halal". He also informed the guests about the extensive activities of these organisations that are taking part with the participation of Russian Muslim women.

Guzel Mubinova, deputy head of the RBMRF Department of Culture, chairwoman of the Women's Association at the RMC, spoke about the activities of Muslim women in the field of health, culture and education, and mentioned the projects aimed at preserving traditional family values.

Her speech was followed by the presentation of Stella Khalikova-Brundukova, head of the Strategic Communications Department, who spoke about business projects of Muslim women and cooperation opportunities between Russia and Bahrain.

The business development manager Elmira Fazlullina spoke about her work as a restaurant owner and presented the project "Nikah Centre" at the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.
