Today, on June 12, 2020, a collective Friday prayer was held at the Moscow Cathedral Mosque for the first time after a three-month quarantine break.
The Friday prayer was carried out in compliance with all necessary sanitary and epidemiological requirements of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, including social distance the maximum capacity prescribed by the abovementioned Federal Service (1 person per 4 sq.m.).
In addition, the visitors had to wear gloves and masks and greeted each other only verbally, without handshakes and hugs.
A device for non-contact temperature measurement and sanitizers for hand disinfection were placed at the entrance to the mosque. Those with fever were not allowed to attend the mosque.
The Friday sermon and collective prayer were carried out in a concise way.
