Ildar Galeyev,  head of the international department of the Russian Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, visited the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Moscow on behalf of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, chairman of the RMC and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation.

Ildar Galeyev conveyed the condolences of the religious leader of Russian Muslims Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin on the death of Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said, leaving a note in the Condolence Book.

He also congratulated Mr. Yusuf Zajali, head of the Omani diplomatic mission in Moscow, on Sultan Haitham bin Tariq al-Said's accession to the throne of the Sultanate of Oman.

The message conveyed from Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin contains the following words: “I prayerfully wish peace and prosperity to the Sultanate of Oman, and I wish strength and wisdom to the new ruler”.
