Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin met with Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow, Cenk Uraz.

During the meeting the parties discussed the questions related to cooperation, strengthening ties between the Russian Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Directorate for Religious Affairs of Turkey, as well as the implementation of projects aimed at developing the country's Islamic infrastructure.

The parties expressed the high opinion of joint humanitarian actions and programs conducted during the month of Ramadan and on the day of Eid al-Adha.

“On behalf of the Religious Board of Muslims I congratulate the diplomatic mission of Turkey in Moscow on the Eid al-Adha holiday. We express our gratitude to the Turkish Republic, the Turkish Embassy in Moscow for the consistent work and support of the Russian Muslims, ”said Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin.

At the end of the meeting Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin awarded Mr Cenk Uraz an honorary diploma for his contribution to the development of relations between Russia and Turkey in the religious sphere, support for cultural, educational and humanitarian programs aimed at bringing the Russian and Turkish peoples closer together.

Cenk Uraz also highlighted the role of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin in preserving and strengthening the spiritual, cultural and social ties between Russia and Turkey.
