Damir Mukhetdinov attends Bosphorus summit Today Damir Mukhetdinov, first deputy chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, is participating in the 9th Bosphorus Summit, which takes place on November 26-27 in Istanbul.

The summit is devoted to “Peacekeeping and universal development”.

The event is attended by heads of states, government members, politicians, businessmen and public figures from 80 countries. Russia is represented by Muslim Khuchiev, Prime Minister of Chechnya.

On the sidelines of the event Damir Mukhetdinov met the leader of the Malaysian Coalition “Pakatan Harapan” (Alliance of Hope), Anwar Ibrahim, and representatives of other Muslim countries.

According to the organizers, the summit is aimed not only at enhancing trade and investment, but also at organizing discussions on the latest innovations in the fields of economics, technology, science and art.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan (President of Turkey), Gjorge Ivanov (President of Macedonia), Mustafa Akinci (President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus), Sontirat Sontijirawong  (Minister of Commerce of Thailand), Carlos Hardenberg (co-founder of the British financial company Mobius Capital) and others are expected to speak at the summit.
