The head of the International Department of the Russia Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation Ildar Galeev took part in the first meeting of the Working Group on the preparation of the Russian-Turkish Public Forum. The meeting was also attended by Eleonora Mitrofanova, the leader of Rossotrudnichestvo, Alexander Radkov, the head of the working group, Sergei Markov, the general secretary of the Russian-Turkish public forum, representatives of the relevant committees of the RTFO, Rossotrudnichestvo, as well as members of expert and business organizations.

In his speech, Ildar Galeev conveyed greetings on behalf of the religious leader of Muslims of Russia, Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin,and  spoke about the development of Russian-Turkish cooperation, in particular, the cooperation of the Russian Muftis Council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation with the Directorate of Religious Affairs of Turkey in the humanitarian, cultural, educational and scientific areas.

"We suggest that our Turkish colleagues use the upcoming forum as a platform for signing memorandums between our major educational projects: the Moscow International Qur’an Reciting Competition and the Turkish Holy Quran Award, the Moscow Halal Expo and the corresponding Halal exhibition in Turkey,as well as charity organizations of our countries" , added the head of the international department of the Russia Muftis Council.
