A delegation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey headed by Mr. Numan Kurtulmus visited the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.

The delegation was received by first deputy chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Damir Gizatullin. At the beginning of the meeting, he conveyed the greetings on behalf of the religious leader of Russian Muslims, the head of RMC, mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin.

During the meeting, Damir Gizatullin informed the delegates about the life of Russian Muslims, the history of the new complex of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. In particular, he recalled that in September 2015 the Moscow Cathedral Mosque was opened with the participation and support of the President of Turkey, Recep Erdogan. The guests admired the exterior and interior of the mosque.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed hope that the relations between our countries would strengthen and develop in different spheres.
