Canadian Ambassador visits Moscow Cathedral Mosque On Friday, February 23, by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Russian Federation, John Kur, visited the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. The purpose of the visit was to see the main mosque of the country, to get acqainted with its architecture, history and the life of the Cathedral Mosque and Moscow Muslims.

The guest was received by the head of the International Department of the Russia Muftis Council Ildar Galeyev and a representative of the tour agency of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.

John Kur highlighted the uniqueness of the Cathedral Mosque in terms of its style and interior, emphasizing the role of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, Chairman of the Russia Muftis Council and the Religioius Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation in the development of Islam in Russia.
