Meeting with Russian Ambassador in Kyrgyzstan A meeting between Rushan Abbyasov, first deputy chairman of Russia Muftis Council (RMC) and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and Andrey Krutko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia in Kyrgyzstan, took place in the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic. The meeting was also attended by the advisor of the embassy, Andrey Surgayev, and the head of the RMC international department Ildar Galeyev.

During the meeting Rushan Abbyasov conveyed greetings on behalf of the religious leader of Russian Muslims, Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, and spoke about international activities of Russian religious boards and cooperation between Russian and Kyrgyz Muslims based on the memorandum of understanding and cooperation signed by the parties.

The first deputy chairman of the RMC and the Religious Board of Muslims informed the Russian diplomats about the upcoming 3rd International Conference "Spiritual Silk Road", another event following two sessions of the Conference held in Urumqi and Kazan. The conference will be held this year in Bishkek.

Rushan hazrat Abbyasov also informed the head of the Russian diplomatic mission in Bishkek about the results of the meeting with the head of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sapar Isakov.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Andrey Krutko confirmed that the Russian Embassy in Bishkek was ready to assist in expanding and strengthening cooperation between Russian and Kyrgyz Muslim in the field of religion.
