Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin met the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Jordan Mr. Amjad Adaileh at the residence of the Russia Muftis council and the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation.

The meeting was also attended by Rushan Abbyasov, first deputy chairman of the 
 Russia Muftis council and the Religious Board of Muslims of Russia; Mutasim al-Bashir, first Secretary of the Embassy of Jordan; Ratib al-Moham, interpreter of the Embassy; and Ildar Galeyev, head of the International Department of the RMC.


At the beginning of the conversation, Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin noted that the Russian Muslims supported the relations established between the leaders of our countries, which contributed to strengthening and expanding the cooperation between the countries related to fighting against international terrorism and solving the Syrian conflict.


During the meeting the parties discussed different ways to strengthen bilateral contacts and cooperation in the field of education, international activities, halal industry and tourism.

Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin told the Head of the Jordanian diplomatic mission about the development of religious infrastructure in Russia: e.g. the opening of mosques, prayer houses, cultural Muslim centres, educational institutions.

Mr. Ambassador noted that the Embassy of Jordan in Moscow would always encourage closer relations between Russian Muslims and relevant Jordanian departments and educational institutions. и
