During the 10th International theological educational conference — Galimzhan Barudi readings “Islamic theology and academic Islamic studies: cooperation and prospects” the Memorandums on understanding in the area of scientific and academic cooperation were signed between the Moscow Islamic Institute from one side, and the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (Brunei Darussalam) and the Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic State University (Jakarta, Indonesia) from the other side.

The first memorandum on understanding in the area of scientific and academic cooperation between the Moscow Islamic Institute and the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (Brunei Darussalam was signed by the principal of the Moscow Islamic Institute, Damir Mukhetdinov, and the dean of the Islamic Economics and Finance Department of the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, Dr Abdel-Naser Abdel-Rani.

The second memorandum on understanding in the area of scientific and academic cooperation between the Moscow Islamic Institute and the Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic State University was signed by the principal of the Moscow Islamic Institute, Damir Mukhetdinov, and the dean of the Arab and Islamic Research Department of the Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic State University, Dr Hamka Hasan.
