Cooperation between Muslims of Russia and Uzbekistan During the 10th International theological educational conference — Galimzhan Barudi readings “Islamic theology and academic Islamic studies: cooperation and prospects” Ildar Galeyev, head of the Russia Muftis Council’s International Department met Ibrahim Inamov, deputy chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of Uzbekistan.

To begin with, Ildar Galeyev conveyed greetings and best wished from mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, chairman of the Russia Muftis Council and the religious leader of Russian Muslims, which were addressed to the Head of the Religious Board of Muslims of Uzbekistan Usmonkhon Aliyev, and thanked the Uzbek party for participation in the events organized by the RMC.
The parties agreed to develop bilateral relations and to mutually participate in their projects and programmes. They also reached agreements regarding the preparation of a memorandum on understanding and cooperation.

In his turn, Ibrahim Inamov expressed a high opinion of the 10th International theological educational conference, which took place in Moscow, as well as the 2nd International conference “Spiritual Silk Road”.
