A lecture for Russian teachers going on a business visit to Tajikistan was delivered in the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. The lecture included the basic concepts of Islam, Islamic religious practice and specific features of Islam in Tajikistan. A guided tour was also conducted for the guests of the Ministry of Education. The lecture was delivered by Zamirjan Zanuddinov, imam hatib of the Moscow Cathedral mosque.
According to media, teachers from Russia will go to Tajikistan to work in local schools on a temporary basis. This decision was made by the authorities of both countries, so this project will be implemented within the framework of bilateral cooperation of Russian and Tajikistan.

It is reported that first of all teachers of Russian language will go from Russian regions to Tajikistan, followed by teachers of Math, Physics, Chemistry and Computer studies. Dagestan became one of the first regions to send its best teachers to Tajikistan.
