Jerusalem police limited access to the Temple Mount for Muslims. On Friday, October 24, the passage to the mosque will be open only for men over 40. There are no age limits for women, according to the news portal ASAR.ru as quoted by NEWSru Israel.

This decision was made by the head of Jerusalem police district Moshe Edri because of the probability of unrest at the Temple Mount after Friday prayer.

Such restrictions are imposed quite often. In the early morning, large police and Magav (Israel Border Police) forces were deployed to the Old City and East Jerusalem.
