A meeting between Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin and extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Morocco in Russia Abdelkader Lecheheb took place in RMC residency.
The meeting was also attended by RMC deputy chairman Rushan hazrat Abbyasov, first SAMER deputy chairman Damir hazrat Gizatullin and head of RMC International department Ildar Galeev.
During the meeting, the ambassador informed Russian party of the forthcoming working visit of His Majesty King of Morocco Mohammad VI to Moscow. During the visit, Moroccan delegation will organize round tables aimed at developing relations between the states in religious, cultural and economical spheres and involving a number of other high officials, including the Minister of Islamic affairs and Wakuf of the Kingdom of Morocco Ahmad Tawfiq.
Mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin gladly accepted the invitation to the events organized by Moroccan delegation headed by the King of Morocco. "The visit of his majesty King Mohammad VI is indeed a historical event that will strengthen Russian-Moroccan relations and become a memorable page in the history of Russia's Muslims," he said.
RMC Chairman also invited his guest to take part in the international exhibition Moscow Halal Expo which will take place in Moscow between June 5 and 8.
In the end of the meeting, parties agreed to continue their fruitful cooperation.
