Meeting between mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin and the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Sudan RMC and SAM RF Chairman mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin met with extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Sudan in Russia Omer Dahab Fadhl Muhammad.

During the meeting, mufti told of the multifaceted activities of Russia Muftis Council and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation.

"Living within the multinational and multifaith society, we strive to show our compatriots the atmosphere of peace and friendship between the peoples of our country," stressed Muslim religious leader.

Mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin thanked the Sudanese party for their active participation in events organized by Russia Muftis Council.

The parties also discussed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education, religion and culture.

In his turn, the Sudanese ambassador said he was delighted to see that Russia's Muslims guided by mufti Ravil Gaynutdin host such important events not only at domestic but also at international level. "By promoting peace and understanding among the youth and the society as a whole through such events, you are making a sizable contribution into the struggle against terrorism," said the ambassador, thanking Ravil Gaynutdin for his work on behalf of the Sudanese people.

"Islam is a major religion that faces major challenges," said the ambassador Omer Dahab Fadhl Muhammad.

The parties agreed that only joint effort will help preserve and spread the true humane values and the right image of Islam.

In the end of the meeting, parties agreed to continue their fruitful cooperation.
