Muslims of Saratov took part in voluntary blood donation campaign for the victims of terrorist attacks in Volgograd that left 32 people dead and more than 100 injured.

After dhuhr (noon) prayer in Jum'ah mosque of Saratov, imams asked members of the congregation to help victims of Volgograd tragedy. Those Muslims who physically could donate blood, went to Saratov Oblast Blood Transfusion Station on Gvardeyskaya St, 27 right away. Some donors, including the activists of women's organization "Rodnik", students of Sheikh Said madrasah and members of the congregation who donated blood before, were among the first to help the victims of terrorists.

After arriving to trasfusion station, Muslims donated 4 litres of blood. According to the staff of the station, the gathered blood will be soon sent to Volgograd.

Muslims of Saratov express their sincere condolences to the victims of the terrorist acts, condemn these monstrous attacks and ask for help of all those who can take part in blood donations campaign.

Blood for the victims of explosions will be collected on December 31 from 8 AM to 3 PM, and on January 2 and 4 from 8 AM to 1 PM. Passport is required.
