Chairman of Russia Muftis Council mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin had a number of meetings with heads of Russia's regions who attended St George Hall of Grand Kremlin Palace to listen to the annual address of Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly, which coincided with 20th anniversary of Russian Constitution. Namely, mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin met with the President of the Republic of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov, President of Tatarstan Rustan Minnikhanov, President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, governor of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Valery Shantsev and governor of Samara Oblast Nikolay Merkushkin.

Spiritual leader of Russia's Muslims congratulated them with the anniversary of Russian constitution and conveyed the wishes of Muslims to all citizens of Russian Federation.

During the talk with mufti, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his live interest in construction progress of Moscow Jum'ah Mosque. Ravil Gaynutdin and Rustam Minnikhanov agreed to meet in the residency of Russia Muftis Council in the coming weeks so that the President could see the finishing stage of the construction with his own eyes, and have a look at the drafts of the forthcoming decoration works.
