Deputy Chairman of Russia Muftis Council Rushan hazrat Abbyasov took part in the celebration of Tatarstan Day in Moscow.

The event was attended by temporary acting mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Mr Sobyanin awarded RMC deputy chairman, member of Tatar autonomy and community council of the mission of Tatarstan in Moscow Rushan hazrat Abbyasov with a certificate of gratitude for his contribution to the development of socio-economic and and cultural ties between the city of Moscow and Republic of Tatarstan.

It's not the first time when Tatarstan Day is celebrated in the capital of Russia, which is a sign of good neighborly relations between Moscow and Tatarstan. The guests of the event had a vast cultural programme this year, which included performance of arts masters from the Republic of Tatarstan and a banquet with traditional Tatar cuisine.
