The residency of Russia Muftis Council was visited by the Deputy Minister of Awkaf and Islamic Affairs of Kuwait Adel al-Falyah who inspected the reconstruction progress of Moscow Jum’ah Mosque. After visiting the construction site, Mr Falyah went to the residency of Russia Muftis Council to meet with RMC deputy chairmen Rushan hazrat Abbyasov and Damir hazrat Muhetdinov who conveyed him the greetings and best wishes of the spiritual head of Russia’s Muslims mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin.

The parties discussed cooperation between the International Center of Islamic Moderatism “Al-Wasatiyyah” presided by Dr Adel al-Falyah, Ministry of Awkaf and Islamic Affairs of Kuwait and Russia Muftis Council. The parties agreed that the communication must involve government structures and the Support Fund for Islamic Culture, Science and Education.

Mr Falyah supported the aspiration of Russian Muslims to strengthen and further develop the system of national Islamic higher education and expressed his support of the efforts of Moscow Islamic University.

During the meeting, Rushan hazrat Abbyasov told the guest of the international projects of Russia Muftis Council, including XIV Moscow International Qur’an Reading Contest that will take place on September 15 this year with the assistance of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government structures.

Damir hazrat Muhetdinov, in his turn, invited Dr Falyah to take part in the Muslim Forum—an annual event organized by Russia Muftis Council that will open in November this year and will be devoted to the 225th anniversary of Orenburg Muhammadan Spiritual Congregation.
