FOR MEDIA ATTENTION An accreditation for the media coverage of Uraza Bayram (Eid al-Fitr) festivities that will take place in Moscow Jum’ah Mosque on August 8, has begun.

The recording of Eid sermon and collective prayer will be broadcasted by channel “Russia 1” on August 8, at 8 AM.

The address of mufti sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin is scheduled on 7 AM, before the sermon, on the second floor of RMC residency.

The journalists will be met and invited to the residency before 6:45 AM from the side of Olympic prospect near the VIP entrance of Olympic Stadium. The journalists must be in accreditation list and have their professional documents (information on camera documents must also be in accreditation form).

To use mobile transmitters (“dishes”) you have to send a letter to the management of Olympic Stadium. Accreditation ends on August 7 at 3 PM.

For the attention of those with accreditation: you have to get car pass until 6 PM of August 7!

Information on the organization of Eid al-Fitr (Uraza bayram) on August 8 for mosque visitors:

The end of the blessed month of Ramadan and the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr (Uraza bayram, Uraza Ayt) falls on August 8 this year. In Moscow city, Eid prayers will take place in mosques and additional places designated Moscow City Government (see below).

ATTENTION:

Entrance to all venues of Eid prayers will be allowed only on presentation of a valid identification document (passport).

- Moscow Jum'ah (Cathedral) Mosque. Temporary prayer hall of Moscow Jum'ah Mosque will open at 3:30 AM for fajr prayer. Eid sermon starts at 8 AM, prayer ends at 9 AM. The congregation will be guided and helped by several dozens of RMC volunteers, including those who speak Uzbek, Tajik and Kirghiz languages. They will be wearing special badges.

- Memorial Mosque, Minskaya st., 2B. Eid prayer starts at 6:30.

- Historical Mosque, Bolshaya Tatarskaya st., 28-1. Eid prayer starts at 9 AM.

- Tent near sports and recreation center “Izumrudny”. Metro station Bunin Alley, Yuzhnoye Butovo district, Yuzhnobutovskaya street, 96. Prayer starts at 7. Organizer: LROM “Milost”.

- Park of the 60th anniversary of October Revolution (central entrance). Metro station Kolomenskaya, Andropov prospect, 9. Prayer begins at 7. Organizer: LROM “Kawthar”.
