Feeding a fasting person during the month of Ramadan has a big reward both for the giver and the taker.

“The Feast of the Merciful” is an annual event organized in Jum'ah Mosque of Moscow that lets every believer come and break his fast in a friendly atmosphere. Each day, the event is visited by more than 600 people of different faiths and ethnic backgrounds.

This year, the feast will take place in a prayer hall in a tent. Organizers plan to feed their guests with fruits, vegetables and Tatar pastry.

“The Feast of the Merciful” is organized by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Moscow City with financial help of Zakat charity fund.
