The organizers expect the arrival of business representatives from Muslim countries. Sessions will be focused on the development of Islamic banking. The office of the first Islamic bank “Al-Gil” was opened in Kazakhstan in March last year. The work on the opening a second financial institution is under way. Its efforts will be focused on the development of small and medium businesses. The Development Bank of Kazakhstan jointly with JSC "Fattah Finance" and the Malaysian state company "Amana Raya Berhard" signed a relevant memorandum of mutual understanding.

The Forum will be also devoted to the discussion of the development of the Halal industry. In this direction the experts have already been actively working to create a so-called "halal hub" - a logistics center for goods and services. "The forum will be a kind of platform where the Islamic countries will be able to discuss opportunities for cooperation, for business, " - the director of the World Islamic Economic Foundation said. Concrete steps for the development of small and medium-sized businesses have already been made.

For example, Sayyid Abu Bakar Almodzar reported that in Bangladesh, on completion of the Astana forum women entrepreneurs are invited to a special seminar. "We spend ten-day workshops for women in business. Two have already been held in Kuala Lumpur, another one after the World Islamic Economic Forum in Astana, will be held in Bangladesh. This is a workshop for women who want to do business in Islamic countries, as well as less developed countries ", - he said about fund plans. According to Abu Bakar Almodzara Seida, women can get basic knowledge on management of the business. In the past year, according to the director of the World Islamic Economic Foundation, the seminar was attended by around 30 female participants from 20 countries. All of them pay only for travel; other expenses are taken by the organizers of the event. We should recall that the Seventh World Islamic Economic Forum held in Astana on 7-9 June.

It is expected that the event will be opened the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
